Senior QA Engineer

Just because you’ll be the first QA in the team doesn’t mean you’ll be starting from scratch - there are some automation and testing processes already in place - at the moment it’s the engineering team that handles it and they’re at the stage now where they’re ready to take on their first designated QA. Essentially you’ll be coming in to build out more of an end-to-end testing environment, setting up standardised testing, basically separating out QA and building it out as a dedicated function.

You’ll need to know which testing tools to use and why, advantages/disadvantages of each and be able to make your case for them. From a technical perspective, ideally you have a Python & JavaScript background and they’re using Postman for API testing. They’re on GCP but if you’re familiar with any cloud platform then you’re good to go.

What you need:

• Really strong QA fundamentals.
• Experience building automation frameworks.
• E2E testing.
• Some Python/JS scripting, Postman, CI/CD.
  

Salary:

Up to €70k.

Interview process:

3 rounds, intro chat to begin followed by a high-level technical chat. There’s a take home test that covers some API testing which you’ll present to them in the final interview.

Location:

Hybrid - if you can come into Dublin a couple of times a month that would be ideal. You can pop in as much as you like obviously but twice a month is enough to get the facetime they’re looking for.
